Pre Cooking Preparation . Dried, then soaked in water overnight prior to cooking.

Cooked 4 hours. Rinsed.  New Soda Ash and cooked for 4 hrs.
Cooked but unbeaten fiber was frozen in water for 6 months before beating and sheet formation.
It would be helpful to scrap the leaves to remove the outer skin before soaking and cooking.
