Burnt Plate Oils Light Oil 00: Reduces tack in etching ink. 

Mid Oil 3: Increases adhesion in etching and litho inks; eliminates broken traces that occur in intaglio printing.

 Add in small increments as needed.  Too much will cause a "halo" around the printed area
Cobalt Drier Speeds drying time of oil based printing inks. Add 5% by volume to ink
Converting Medium Makes litho ink less tacky & easier to wipe when used for intaglio work. Add 1-2 parts to 1 part litho ink
Easy Wipe Compound 
 Makes hard to wipe etching ink easier to wipe. Add up to 15% by volume to ink
Flash Oil 470 
 		 Reduces tack in oil-based printing inks Add a few drops, very slowly to ink
Magnesium Carbonate 
 Adds body to oil-based printing inks Add in small increments as needed
Miracle Gel Reducer 
 		 •Reduces body and tack in oil based printing inks 
•Makes etching ink easier to wipe 
•Decreases tack without increasing greasiness in litho ink 
•In relief inks, it reduces the tendency of soft papers (like traditional Japanese) to stick to the wood or linoleum.		 Add 5-10% by volume to ink
Setswell Compound 
 		 •Reduces sheen in etching and relief inks 
•Helps trap litho & etching inks when overprinting or in printing large flats		 Add 5-10% by volume to ink 
 
Whiting 
 		 Stiffens etching ink  Add in small increments as needed
