			  - Use fairly soft
			    stalks of plant materials 
			    
			      - celery, rhubarb, leeks, onion skins, autumn leaves.
 
			        these fibers break down fairly quickly when boiled. 
			       
			   
			  - Cut stalks to apx. 2 inch pieces. 
 
			  - Boil. 
 
			  - Wash and rinse until water runs clear. 
 
			  - Beat. 
			    
			      - Using thin sides of bat, the cooked fiber is pounded to crush and
			        abrade fibers and forces water deep into the fibers causing water
