Consistency:
- Required consistency of the "size" varies with the brand of
paint being used and the desired effects.
- Consistency of Syrup
- At least the consistency of buttermilk
- Pudding like is too thick and interfere with the paint spreading.
- Add more Carrageenan to thicken the size if needed or water to thin
it if necessary.
Note about distilled water.
- Try tap or filtered water.
- "Hard" water interferes with the process and water softener will need
to be added.

Carrageenan Size Recipe:
1 T carrageenan / 4 cups of warm distilled water (1/4 cup/ gallon)
- Add Carrageenan slowly to water as you stir.
- Blend in blender on medium for 1-2 minutes.
- Repeat as necessary.
- Make sure powder is fully dissolved.
- Cover with plastic.
- Let mixture to "mature" for 8 to 12 hours before use.
- Refrigerating for 24 hours will obtain the best viscosity and to allow
trapped air bubbles to rise to the surface.
